E-GEN Workstation offers all tools for making Templates and objects. These Templates are put into a relation to each other and yield such a data model. These from the resulting object form the functional description.



Freely definable generators and generator libraries make it possible to make every kind of document, like JCL, OPC Batch Loader or HTML, (production material and functional description). Optional collectors allow the import of objects (applications, jobs etc.) already existing. The optional Staging feature program allows your surroundings the controlled handing over of the made objects between the production stages (test, beta, production) according to the Life Cycle.

Staging Feature

The E-GEN Staging feature allows to show your production cycle. The same objects can be kept in the different stages. The stages can be installed distributed over several systems. Access rights to become administered over the Security of the E-GEN Primary servers.  

 

	Every stage is a complete Subset the E-GEN Workstation.
	Only Edit stages allowa changing the available objects.
	Variables are adapted to the stages according to your rules.
	By means of Promote objects can into the respectively next stage - up to the `End Stage` controlledly pass on and be pursued about the History.
	With the `retrieving` function it is possible objects from the `End Stage` to copy in order to correction - or for the further processing.
